The Danforth Campus, S40, and North Campus lost power from approximately 6:30 to 8:00PM. All core network services remained online. However certain buildings, mostly residential houses, may have lost internet connectivity due to the extended power outage. By 9:30PM all of these services have been restored.

There is currently an outage with the CATV on the east end of the campus. Buildings reporting outages, but not limited to, are Brown and Goldfarb.

This issue was caused by a power outage on the transmitter feeding the west end of the campus. This issue has been resolved.

*Update*
Controller 7 functioning normally now, but it is not currently
in production. We are going to change-over from the temporary controller
back to controller 7 tomorrow morning at 7:00am. If things go smoothly,
roughly a 20 minute wireless outage will be noticed.

We are currently having hardware issues with controller 7. We
are going to fail over to the a spare controller after we retrieve the
necessary diagnostics. This should be within 30 minutes or so. Wireless

We have manually failed out controller 8. Clients should now receive DHCP addresses. We are working with Meru to try and resolve these issues.

Wireless DHCP addresses may not be handed out until after the fail-over, and the problem may occur intermittently throughout the day until the issue is resolved.

Due to a lightening strike on the rooftop of Lien Hall at 11:30 AM, NSS had to replace malfunctioning networking hardware. A two hour outage was noticed in particular areas of the building.

Due to a scheduled electric outage from 10:00 AM to NOON,
Fraternity Houses 6 & 7 will be without network from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM.
