Network Services and Support works with University departments to provide Virtual Private Network (VPN) Services to faculty and staff of the University who wish to remotely access campus resources from a non-campus network. The VPN client requires individuals to have an existing Internet connection, and works with practically all major Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
Administrative privileges are not required to update the AnyConnect client. However, it is possible that the browser based installation may prompt. If this happens, please attempt to launch the Anyconnect Client directly from the Start Menu. This will also kick-off the upgrade process. If prompted for Administrative privileges when AnyConnect is launched in this way, please contact the NOC so we can open a ticket on the issue with our vendor.
